Ribbons Coordinator

  • Attends all meets
  • Insures ribbons table is set-up and stocked with enough ribbons for both home and away teams at the start of the home meet
  • Ensure all Ribbon Volunteers are comfortable with their roles
  • Collects labels from Scorer Table and delivers them to the Ribbon Table
  • Oversee the sticking of labels to the correct ribbons during the meet with the help of the Ribbon Volunteers
  • Ensure all ribbons are filed and prepared for distribution

  • Oversees the concessions at all meets and should ensure all the concessions volunteers are comfortable with their roles

  • Coordinates the purchase, storage, and collection of money received from concessions sold at home meets

  • Works closely with the Volunteer Coordinator and Team President
  • Works closely with outside vendors such as Chick-Fil-A, pizza, candy, and drinks

Console Operator

  • Times recorded by the Dolphin stop-watches are sent wirelessly to the Console Operator. 
  • The Console Operator will monitor all Dolphin stop-watches, captures times per heat, and remotely reset the Dolphin stop-watches, to make them ready for the next race.

Equipment Coordinator

Designated as H (HOME) A (AWAY) or HA (Both):

Prior to the Meet:

For Home Meets & Away Meets:

  • (H) Ensure bathrooms are clean & stocked (alert Sweetwater if not)
  • (HA) Check equipment inventory in shed (list provided)
  • (HA) Check batteries for powered devices; buy batteries if needed
  • (A) Contact Truck Transport Volunteer to coordinate load time, etc.

Day of Meet:

For Away Meets (A):

  • Meet Truck Transport Volunteer with volunteers to load equipment.
  • (A) Meet Truck Transport Volunteer w/ Volunteers to load
  • (HA) Coordinate set-up of all equipment using lay-out diagrams (tell Volunteers where to put things)
  • (HA) Ensure take-down is done (tents can be taken down at sunset)
  • (A) Coordinate w/Truck Transport Volunteer for tent loading & when to return tents to 7M Pool
